Lovely Links

Yay for Friday! I have to say, it's been quite a hectic, busy week over here trying to get back to reality and all of its responsibilities after being gone for 10 days (more on that here and here). I can't wait to use this weekend to get back to neutral, catch up on projects, finish unpacking and spend time with friends. What's this weekend looking like for you?

Since it is Friday and all, it's time for the first Lovely Links post of the year! I pulled eight of my favorite posts from the blogosphere to share with you this week. Enjoy!

1 | This bedroom is so soothing - can I move in? I think I'd stay snuggled up for the rest of the winter.

2 | With the new year beginning, I find myself itching for some new writing inspiration, and this post definitely fits the bill. Even if you aren't a blogger, the topics listed in this post are great ones to think through!

3 | Stiffened ribbon seems like a fun idea for all kinds of things...don't you agree? I'll have to try it soon with my hoard of ribbon - yes, I have yards and yards of ribbon!

4 | I wouldn't have called myself a DIYer before I started this blog. Sure I liked to make things, but I hadn't tried to really make things...know what I mean? But you know how I got started? I did things. Experimented. Took chances. Kelly talks about this more in a post I loved on how to become a DIYer...when you don't really know what you're doing. Read it if you're in that boat! I promise you'll be encouraged.

5 | Really interesting post on Pinterest - the pros and cons, how it's changed, etc. If I'm being honest, I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest and how it has changed both my approach to design/inspiration and the blogging world. Warning: long post alert, but worth it if this is something that interests you!

6 | Ohh my goodness, Kristen from the Hunted Interior has done it again - this time transforming her dining room into a room for her little girl. Yep, I meant dining room when I said dining room.

7 | I love this idea for DIY industrial shelving. It's way nicer looking than those wire rack-style ones!

8 | I'm thinking it might be time to reorganize my reorganized kitchen...at least parts of it (ahem, pantry). Sometimes organization ideas just don't work like you want them to, and that's ok! This article from the Kitchn is helping motivate me a tiny bit to get going on that project soon. Maybe I should take down my Christmas decor first. :)

Have a fantastic weekend, y'all!!

  3. I appreciate how you've curated these diverse and informative links related to various aspects of life. The range from health and wellness to art and culture is fantastic. As I read through the links, I couldn't help but think about how these different topics also intersect with macroeconomics assignment help. Exploring the economic implications of these areas could add an insightful layer to your blog.
