Seeing snow again made me ache for spring. After all, March is just a couple of days away, which in my mind equals the start of when leaves should be reappearing on the trees, crocuses ought to be popping up and of course, warmer temperatures should be arriving. This means that it's time to do away with dull and bare and bring on some bright spring colors!
So in spite of the temperamental weather, I decided to go ahead manufacture a little spring color in the form of some watercolor-y iPhone wallpapers. Adding a touch of color to the device that we look at a thousand times a day (at least I do) helps remind us that spring will come. It's only a matter of time.
I created a set of three brightly colored iPhone backgrounds that mimic watercolor-y waves that I'd love for you to have. I sized them for both iPhone 4 or 5, so scroll to the bottom of the post to get the link to the right download for you. These will also work for other smart phones (they're just good ole jpgs), but you may have to change the settings so that it fills the screen.
First up, I've got blank wallpapers for your home screen in blue/green, green/orange and pink/purple:
Then, in case you're like me and like to have a calendar of the current month handy, you can download this lock screen wall paper with a March 2014 calendar on it. I love having this at-a-glance calendar pop up when I click my iPhone's screen on.
