Lovely Links

Happy Friday! It's time for another round o' lovely links from around the web! Before I get to those, did you have a chance to catch my posts from earlier this week? In case you missed them, I posted the new October iPhone calendar as well as an update on my newly finished beadboard wall in the living room. The latter is a great solution for renters.

Now onto the good stuff!

*As usual, if you like something you see here, please pin from the original source. The link is always right below the photo. Give these sites some love! :)

1 | After the chaos that spread all over the blog world following YHL's decision to take a break from the blog for a little while, I was really encouraged by Kate's (of the Centsational Girl blog) take on things and why she's not planning on quitting blogging any time soon. THANK YOU, Kate for helping me remember why I do this in the first place! I have many, many thoughts on the changes that are going on in the blog world, but maybe I'll save those thoughts for another day. I'm not planning on going anywhere any time soon. This little blog will keep chugging along as long as I feel like it's the right thing to do.

2 | And on a lighter note...take a look at this awesome modern farmhouse bathroom reno from Craftivity Designs!

3 | Fall decorating in your home doesn't have to mean an explosion of pumpkins, as Emily shows us in her newly "fall-ified" living room tour.

4 | I came across a new-to-me modern, handmade home goods business called Cotton & Flax randomly on Instagram this week and fell in LOVE with the goods. Then I found out that this biz in in the running for the West Elm local small business grant contest that's currently happening. I put in my vote for Cotton & Flax  - check out the contest and take a minute to vote yourself!

5 | This apple chip bourbon cocktail looks perfect for a crisp fall day!

6 | These little magnet boards are just the most adorable things! Don't you think? And such an easy weekend DIY.

Happy weekend, y'all!

  1. Thanks so much for including my bathroom! Love these other links too -- Emily's living room is one of my favorites and her post on fall decor was simple and pretty.
