1 | After the chaos that spread all over the blog world following YHL's decision to take a break from the blog for a little while, I was really encouraged by Kate's (of the Centsational Girl blog) take on things and why she's not planning on quitting blogging any time soon. THANK YOU, Kate for helping me remember why I do this in the first place! I have many, many thoughts on the changes that are going on in the blog world, but maybe I'll save those thoughts for another day. I'm not planning on going anywhere any time soon. This little blog will keep chugging along as long as I feel like it's the right thing to do.

4 | I came across a new-to-me modern, handmade home goods business called Cotton & Flax randomly on Instagram this week and fell in LOVE with the goods. Then I found out that this biz in in the running for the West Elm local small business grant contest that's currently happening.
